Practice and reflection on the teaching of ideological and political education in higher medical education

Abstract: The fundamental task of medical universities and colleges is to cultivate medical talents with noble medical ethics. The construction of the ideological and political education should be implemented in all the courses to help to cultivate the professional ethics of the medical students. Taking Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine as an example, we here expound the practice in the aspects of the curriculum ideological and political construction in higher medical education, the improvement of teachers‘’ professional ability, the construction of teaching resources, and analyzes the relevant difficulties and solutions.
